The
magnificence of the spanish royal palace
(Charles the III of Bourobon residence) , has made Caserta famous
in the world. The grandiosity of the Palace takes up an area of about
44 thousand square-meters and it is a masterpiece plamned and designed
by the great genial, dutch architect, Luigi Vanvitelli.
The palace has 1200 rooms and 1750 windows. Its royal park, which
extends for 150 hectares, embellished by scenographic, spectacular
spring fountains and water-falls acts as a frame to this imposing
picture.
